PUBLIC WORKS LABORER HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Wapello is now accepting resumes and applications through 4:30 pm on April 29, 2025 for the position of full time Public Works Laborer.

Labor works a 40-hour work week Monday through Friday with some OT on weekend. Benefits include IPERS retirement, 100% paid single or family health insurance, 2 weeks of vacation with increases with years of service, accrued sick time, and (3) personal days per year. If hired, laborer must reside within an 8 air miles of Wapello City limits.

Pay will depend on experience
